About PayPal Feeds

Saasu communicates with PayPal via an API. An API is a way for appliations to talk to each other on the internet. PayPal business accounts have an API. It’s easy to connect your Saasu file to PayPal immediately.

How to use PayPal Feeds

  1. Go to View > Bank Account.
  2. Click on the Paypal Account in your Bank Account list.  If you haven’t set up a Bank Account yet for Paypal follow the instructions for Setting up a Bank Account.
  3. Click on Enable automatic Bank Feed.
  4.  Search for PayPal in the Please Select Your Bank field.
  5. Sign into your business paypal account.
  6. You will be at the overview page. Click on Profile.

    7. Note: please go to step 7 for Australian Paypal accounts. For US Paypal account the API credentials can be accessed as per Step B on this Paypal page.

  7. You will be at the Profile page. Click on My Selling Tools and then Update to the right of API Access (under the Selling Online section).
    • If you haven’t requested an API key from PayPal before…
      You will be at the API Access screen. Select Request API Signature.
    • If you have requested an API key from PayPal before…
      You will be at the API Access screen. Click on View API Signature
  9. You will be on the View or Remove API Signature screen. The credentials you will need to connect to PayPal are API Username, API Password and Signature
  10. Enter these credentials in the Connect to My Bank screen, check “I accept the terms and conditions” and then click the Connect to Bank.
