Saasu’s Development Queue

Saasu has all the elements of a modern accounting system including invoicing, inventory, payroll and point of sale. Now we have the 5th element, Bank Feeds. However will never be finished. The pipeline is still flowing thick and fast so keep an eye on the list below as a guide but not a guarantee as to our activity.

Feature Requests

We are very keen to receive any feature requests you have. We tend to make build decisions bases on two criteria. Firstly what we see as visionary or innovative change. This is where he vast majority of a time is spent by our code team. Secondly we like to build things that our customers need that may be used by many other customers. Every customer request counts as a vote in our system (repeat votes aren’t counted) and in a future release we will provide a list of your requests and how many votes are against them from within your Saasu subscription.

FAQ

What leads to a feature request being built?
Lots of votes. If 20 or more customers ask for a feature it is given serious consideration to be built. Generally the only thing stopping it being built is we believe something else we are going to do will make it redundant or if the feature is outside the demographic of our customer base.

Where can I see what features I have requested?
You need to ask us by creating a help ticket and then we will send you a list. In a future release this will be available online in the Activities area.

Can you tell me when and if my feature will be built?
If you feature has enough votes and is in the build list for our next release we can give you an estimated release date. Otherwise we can’t sorry because the nature of the web is so dynamic. Related technology and customer needs change so much that providing estimates beyond this next release can lead to disappointment if we can’t hold our promise we have made.

I want a feature so badly is there anything I can do to make it happen?
Some customers have paid our code team to develop features for them from time to time. We tend to give those customers very large discounts if the feature is useful to the majority of customers who use Saasu.
