Custom Reports BETA

Saasu has a Custom Report feature in Enterprise BETA. If you have an Enterprise licence of Saasu go to Reports > Custom Reports

Spreadsheet Approach

There is a convenient way to create custom reports without too much effort after an initial setup. The method is to create a spreadsheet with two worksheets. One worksheet will be your data source and the second will be your report layout. Here’s how you can prepare this:

  1. Create a new spreadsheet with two worksheets
  2. In your first worksheet you will copy data from a Saasu list, report or export file and then paste it into this worksheet as plain text.
  3. In the second worksheet you will markup a report according to your specific needs (wording, colours, fonts and layouts etc.) and link the cells back to the first worksheet to populate it with data.
  4. Each time you need to update your report update the data in the first worksheet.

Keeping a static Chart of Accounts in Saasu will help ensure your cells keep in alignment in your spreadsheet file.

Consider sorting your data in Saasu list screens or in a blank spreadsheet first if you need it to appear in a particular direction.
